Farm Name Fruit Sato
Farm Information Fruit Sato is located in the city of Sagae in central Yamagata Prefecture. The farm grows fruit using techniques passed on for generations, benefiting from Mt. Gassan. Farm Sato grows and sells cherries (Sato Nishiki, Takasago, and Beni Shuho), all types of seedless grapes (Pione, Sunny Rouge, and other varieties), apples, and La France pears. Here visitors can enjoy fresh seasonal fruits with cherry and grape picking.
Admission Fee Cherry picking (1 hour-long): early June to mid-June 2,000 yen (adults), 1,500 yen (children); mid-June to early July 1,500 yen (adults), 1,000 yen (children) / Grape picking (1 hour-long): early September to mid-September 1,200 yen (adults), 600 yen (children)
