Farm Information | Located in Shiroishi Town, Saga Prefecture, just after the Ariake Coastal Road exit on the Fukutomi IC, the 'Saga Shiroishi Strawberry Station' opened next to the Shiroishi Road Station on January 5, 2022. January 5 (1/5) is known in Japan as 'Ichigo Day' or "Strawberry Day." (In Japanese, 'ichi' means one, 'go' means five, and 'ichigo" means strawberry.) The farm offers a unique strawberry-picking experience, where visitors can pick strawberries while standing, instead of having to crouch down. You can enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberries for 40 minutes, including varieties such as 'Ichigo-san,' 'Saga Honoka,' and the white strawberry known as 'Awayuki,' among the seven varieties on offer there. |
