NITORI Sightseeing Orchard (Former Yamamoto Orchard) is a sightseeing fruit farm located in Yoichimachi in Hokkaido, just a 60 minute drive away from Sapporo. On this 15-17 hectare farm, fruits such as strawberries, pears, grapes, blueberries, peaches, and apples, and chestnuts are grown.

From June through November, various different fruits come into season here, and unlimited time, all-you-can-eat picking courses for adults cost only 1100 yen, 880 yen for elementary school students, and are free for children under elementary school age.

The price for these courses is the same no matter which type of fruit you’re picking. And, if different types of fruits are in season at the same time, you can have more than one fruit at the same time, for the same price.

One fruit you can’t miss out on at NITORI Sightseeing Orchard is the cherry. They grow over 10 different cultivars, including the standard sato nishiki, as well as benishuho, summit, and nanyo cherries. Come harvest and taste delicious cherries that you’ve picked with your own hands.

NITORI Sightseeing Orchard actively welcomes visitors to Japan, and in July and August, 70% of their customers are tourists visiting Japan. With English- and Chinese-speaking staff, visitors can enjoy fruit picking without worrying about language barriers. Brochures in English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malaysian are also available.

This Orchard is also committed to the earth. Rather than using chemical fertilizers, they rely on rapeseed grounds, soybeans and millet in their compost, all of which helps to improve the overall flavor of the fruits themselves. Moreover, as there are almost no agricultural chemicals used on the fruits, they are safe to eat straight from the tree.

Why not come and eat your fill of safe and delicious fruits at NITORI Sightseeing Orchard?
