Ichigo no Sato, a village visited by many travelers. There are 150 strawberry greenhouses in this village, as well as cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy plenty of the fresh fruits cultivated here.

There are two 30 minute all-you-can-eat strawberry picking courses available at Ichigo no Sato: one where you can pick the luxuriously sweet and juicy sky berry strawberries, and the other where you can pick Tochigi’s famous regional product, tochiotome strawberries! After strawberry season ends, you can also enjoy picking cherries, Kyoho grapes, blueberries, and peaches at this farm.

Besides fruit picking, one of the main charms of Ichigo no Sato is that you can fully enjoy dishes featuring the seasonal fruits here. The gelato shop Campo sells refreshing and expertly made gelato featuring strawberries and other fruits. Berry Berry Marche sells blueberry and strawberry-based jams and other sweets that make excellent souvenirs. And at the restaurant Ichigo Ichie, you can enjoy an Italian all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner buffet! The ingredients used at this restaurant also feature regional products, such as Tochigi wagyu, yancha pork, and fresh fruits and vegetables that have all been raised in Tochigi prefecture.

There are also popular tourist attractions such as the Sano Premium Outlet, an outlet style shopping center, and the Ashikaga Flower Park, a botanical garden famous for its wisteria flowers and illuminations, in the vicinity of Ichigo no Sato.

There are some English speaking staff on the premises, and there are signs in other languages in the grounds as well, so non-Japanese speakers need not worry when visiting.

Farm Information With 150 greenhouses on site, visitors can enjoy picking their own seasonal fruits including strawberries, blueberries, grapes and more. Jams, cakes and other products made with fruits produced at this farm are sold in their shop too. And, in their jointly established restaurant, visitors can enjoy local dishes buffet-style, and in the cafe, some incredibly popular pancakes too.
