Scrumptious Japanese fruits, cultivated with care by farmers, are sometimes regarded as “agri-art” (agricultural art). These products will be on sale at a restricted area in Tokyo International Airport Terminal 3, located beyond passport control, en route to the boarding gates.

“Japan boasts seasonal fruits year-round.
The project aims to promote those products to overseas visitors. There will be pre-cut fruits and products that can be taken home as souvenirs (*), sold at a duty-free price.
Strawberries such as Amaou and Tochi-otome will be on sale in December.”

Fruits eaten during your trip, those that couldn’t be tasted, or fruits eaten immediately after picking without washing may all be present at this store.

The store also offers information about the area where the fruits are grown. Kiki Creative, an innovative company hiring disabled persons, is the project partner. Tote bags and T-shirts designed by Justine Ikeda, the company’s resident artist, will also be on sale.

At the end of your trip filled with pleasant memories, these delicious Japanese fruits will continue to delight visitors.
