They cultivate 10 varieties, including &#8220;Sato Nishiki,&#8221; a representative cherry variety, as well as &#8220;Beni Shuho&#8221; and &#8220;Suimon.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Kudamono Nouka Hamada-en&#8221; is a vast farm spanning 10 hectares. By utilizing this vast land and planting trees spaciously, the trees receive plenty of sunlight, resulting in sweet and delicious cherries. They also put effort into soil preparation for fruit cultivation, using not only chemical fertilizers but also a special, proprietary compost.<br \/>\nFruits grown in the special land of Hokkaido differ in color, taste, and firmness. This is due to the unique temperature difference between day and night in Hokkaido.
